Installation

The type BB is designed with a flat top to allow a

nut or bolt head to be tightened down onto it. This

makes the fixing suitable for use with studs, tie

bars or any other threaded items. The fixing is

available with three tail lengths per size (1,2 and 3);

the tail length (dim E) should be as near as possible

or slightly below the thickness of flange to which it

is clamped. Packing pieces are available to adjust

the clamping thickness in combination with the tail

lengths of the fixings to suit the steelwork flange.

The packings suitable for this product are the BH1,

BF1 and BG1. The type BB is suitable for parallel flanges and tapered flanges up to 8 degrees slope.
