Self Locking Nuts Binx and Nylocs

The self locking nut as the name implies feature inbuilt methods to resist movement through vibration. The Binx nut has grooves cut into the face of the nut then the top is compressed,  the action of threading onto a bolt then pushes against the face of the nut applying an opposing force. The nyloc nut contains a Nylon insert, when tightening onto a bolt a thread is formed in the nylon holding the nut in place.  Nylocs are available in both Type T (Thin Type) or Type P (Standard)

Studding connectors are elongated nuts that form as a connector to either join two matching threads or can also be provided to connect two different threads.

Dome nuts are capped and are primarily used in applications were the nut is to be seen and to protect  people against abrasions with the screwed thread. 

Wing Nuts form a simple means of hand tightening and unscrewing with out the need of tools.
