Types A and B steelwork fixings are designed to be used with a grade 8.8 bolt to form hook bolts which facilitate the connection of steelwork in a wide range of applications. There is no need to drill or weld the steelwork, or to fabricate special clips. Both products feature a skirt, which rests against the flange and prevents the fixing rotating, and a tail, the length of which, V must be chosen to suit the thickness of the flange being gripped.

Packing pieces are available to meet different flange thicknesses.

Type A has a recessed top to hold the bolt head captive whilst the nut is tightened, whilst Type B has a flat top which allows the bolt head or nut to be rotated. Type B is suitable for use with all bolts, studs, tie rods and J bolts
